Zoi Calomiris works as a destination marketing consultant. Her mission is to educate the North American market through target branding and campaigns, on emerging tourism destinations. Her vision is communities, particularly in Africa, that have a healthy stable economy based upon tourism.
To that end, Ms. Calomiris, frequently works with non-profits to encourage economic growth in Africa. She has worked on overall social media strategy and individual campaigns, for The Africa Travel Association, MCW (Miracle Corners of the World) and Chef’s for Impact, the annual fundraiser for Impact Network.
Ms. Calomiris is also an expert on tourism in New York City. Besides working as a licensed tour guide, she developed marketing strategies and partnership relations for E&E Grill House, a new restaurant in Times Square, that launched in July 2011. New York is also where Ms. Calomiris calls home.
